Unveiled ahead of its debut at the 2018 Paris Motor Show, KIA shows off its beautiful hot hatch.
Styling wise the Ceed GT looks quite different compared to the other derivatives. It features a new front bumper, larger air intakes, and the grille featuring a red highlighted honeycomb design with “GT” logo on it. 18-inch alloy wheels are fitted on the Ceed GT along with more chunkier side sills. The rear houses a gloss-black rear diffuser, a small roof spoiler and so you should be reminded more GT badges.
Inside we find sports seats in leather and suede with red stitching. Beautiful D-Shaped steering wheel with the GT logo and aluminium pedals.
Power in the KIA Ceed GT comes courtesy of a 1,6-litre T-GDi petrol engine which develops 150 kW at 6 000 r/min and 265 N.m from 1 500 through to 4 500 r/min. The GT comes comes standard with a six-speed manual gearbox as standard, and a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission will also be offered.
Stopping power comes from ventilated front disc brakes 320 mm discs (replacing the standard model’s 288 mm discs). The car gains softer anti-roll bars, and suspension system gains stiffer springs.
